Intensive Outpatient Detox Treatment

No one addiction is the same as another. To be sure, two or more people can become addicted to the same substance, but addicted in the same way, and under the same circumstances? No, that rarely, if at all, ever happens.

This is one reason why Safe Harbor Treatment Centers establishes several options for you to become clean and sober in a safe and supportive atmosphere.

One of our most popular programs is our outpatient program.

These programs, which occur throughout the day and evening, provide all the interaction and support of our inpatient program.

The main difference is you’re not bunking at one of Safe Harbor’s national treatment centers.

At night, you’re sleeping at home with your family. And during the day you’re working. In short, it’s life as usual even though you’re also in rehab.

Sure, at some point, whether it be daily, semi-daily, or even weekly, you’ll want to – and probably should feel a need to come into your Safe Harbor treatment center for a maintenance check on your sobriety. But when you do so is entirely up to you.

This is the beauty of outpatient therapy, which gives you immense flexibility as to how you want your sobriety maintained.

Naysayers might take exception with a sobriety program which doesn’t have you monitored 24-7, and that is understandable in a traditional substance abuse treatment facility.

What is different with Safe Harbor Treatment Centers’ outpatient programs is we provide you not just the tools and knowledge to be in charge of the maintenance of your sobriety. Safe Harbor helps you gain the confidence to maintain your sobriety, as well as appreciate it by giving you the choice to come in at your own convenience.

At Safe Harbor, we want you involved in your own recovery. We don’t want to administer sobriety toward you, make sure you hold yourself true to it, then boot you out to face the world.

What we instead do is give you options through our Day-Date Scheduling.

Day-Date allows you to hand pick how much time each week you want to devote toward group meetings and your counseling. That type of scheduling can include:

  • Whole days at one of our centers
  • Half days
  • One or two hours a day

Once you do decide the hours and frequency that you can devote toward outpatient counseling, confirm this with your case manager, and boom. After that, you’re ready to maintain your sobriety in every way inpatient clientele gain and maintain their alcohol and drug-free life.

Another benefit to outpatient recovery is the same courses that are moderated to inpatient clients, can be taken advantage of by outpatients, but done so at a fraction of the cost.

These courses include, but aren’t limited to:

  • 12 Step-based Track
  • Non-12 Step Track
  • LBGTQ-affirmative Track
  • Primetime Track
  • Expressive Art Therapies
  • Mindfulness & Mindfulness-based Relapse Prevention (MBRP)
  • Nutrition & Wellness Groups

Safe Harbor Treatment Centers also offer after work gatherings, which occur nightly between 6 and 9pm.

These after work gatherings include:

  • Mindfulness-based Relapse Prevention
  • Psychoeducation
  • Healthy Relationship/Team Building Group
  • Addiction Education
  • Process Therapy Groups

Other themes are available. Check with your Safe Harbor case manager to find the correct outpatient gathering for you.

In our busy fast-paced world, addiction has a way of sneaking up on us. And that addiction cares little about who we are, be it a father, mother, child, husband or wife. Don’t let addiction stand between your loved ones and yourself.
